For the Bible Tells Me So

Just saw this documentary. Eye-opening and moving. It documents the stories of Christian families who find out one of their children is gay. They go from near rejection of their own, to indifference, and some actually come to embrace their child and realize that this is what and who they were meant to be. Everyone should watch this film, even if you don't agree with it. Actually, it's those that take a hard stance against homosexuality and preach that it's an 'abomination' and that all homosexuals have a one-way ticket to hell that need to see this the most.

P.s. In case you're wondering, no I'm not gay. I'm a heterosexual male who always thought homosexuality was an abomination, and that all gay people were going to burn in Hell. Some years ago, you couldn't convince me that there was such a thing as a "gay christian." The two were simply incompatible. Now, I see them as everyone else - people in need of hope, cuz we can all use a little hope in our lives.

Edit: I totally forgot about this video.

Our good friend, Scott, returns to provide us with lesbianism and why it's NOT a sin. It was never condemned in the Old Testament. There is only one vague reference to it in the entire Bible, found in the first chapter of Romans. But even this may be referring to female temple prostitution, versus the traditional viewpoint of lesbianism. There's also this informative letter that I found online that makes an argument that homosexuality, whether male or female, is not a sin.
